In the ever-expanding pet industry, we are exploring diverse design strategies that foster a harmonious coexistence between pets and people.
In collaboration with Avec, a smart pet care brand, we designed a smart care device guided by the vision of 'a more comfortable and beautiful coexistence.'
The 'Pet Dry Room' is a compact device that combines a dryer and a pet house. It transcends its purely functional role to become a sanctuary of comfort and stability for pets, while also serving as a beautiful design object within the living space.
Its rounded-cube silhouette and smooth exterior create a sense of security, while the transparent front door provides an open feel, ensuring pets remain comfortable inside. The internal drying and sanitizing system is designed for simplicity and intuitive use, making it easy to maintain a hygienic environment. To ensure a stress-free experience for pets, low-vibration and low-noise technology is integrated for a quiet, gentle, and stable drying process. The simple interface and modular design not only enhance usability but also allow the device to blend seamlessly into the space as a singular object.

점차 커져가는 반려동물 산업 시장에서, 우리는 동물과 사람이 공존할 수 있는 다양한 디자인 전략을 시도하고 있다. 반려동물을 위한 스마트 펫 케어 브랜드 Avec와 함께, '더욱 편안하고 아름다운 공존'을 위한 방향성을 모색하며 스마트 케어 기기 디자인을 진행하였다.
'Pet Dry Room'은 드라이 기능과 하우스를 결합한 소형 드라이룸으로, 단순한 기능적 역할을 벗어나 반려동물이 편안함과 안정을 느끼는 쉼터이자 사람들이 머무는 공간 속 오브제가 된다.
둥근 큐브형 실루엣과 매끄러운 외형은 안정감을 주고, 전면의 투명 도어는 개방감을 더해 반려동물이 편안하게 머물 수 있도록 한다. 내부의 건조와 살균 시스템은 간결하고 직관적으로 설계되어 위생적인 환경을 손쉽게 유지할 수 있으며, 반려동물이 놀라지 않도록 저진동 및 저소음 기술을 적용해 편안하고 안정적으로 털을 말릴 수 있다. 단순한 인터페이스와 모듈화된 구조는 사용의 편리함을 높이는 동시에, 공간 속 하나의 오브제로 자연스럽게 어우러진다.
